Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on 31 October 1979. The most well-known character she has played is that of her role as deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy television series Eureka. Cerra was born to Italian parents in Vancouver British Columbia. The actress was attracted to acting as young as eight and appeared in numerous commercials while a young. Her acting career was interrupted during a period of time. However, in 2001 she came back to the scene at just 22 years old. Cerra was ranked among the five most popular actresses in Vancouver by Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine in 2005. Cerra was a part of the show Jo Lupo's deputy Jo Lupo in Eureka a Syfy show that aired between the years 2006 until 2012. She also starred in the music video for"Save the Last Dance for Me," a Michael Buble song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra had prominent roles on several well-known and highly acclaimed TV shows like Battlestar Galactica. She's also been in major films like Man About Town featuring Ben Affleck alongside Rebecca Romijn or Blade:Trinity which featured Wesley Snipes. Cerras head and body served as a template to Ashley Williams' character in Mass Effect. Other guest-starring appearances are Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff, and Dead Like Me. Her credits include Cold Squad (Canadian Police procedural), Special Unit 2 (monster-hunting action series) as well as The Collector, a supernatural thriller. Cerra married Raffaele Fiore in November 2010.
